My wife and I had front row seats at an Alison concert a few years ago in Branson, Mo. She has the voice of an angel. I love the songs she contributed to the Cold Mountain soundtrack. I don't know how she got together with Robert Plant(they seem like complete opposites) but the resulting album is great.
As an unrelated aside, I was in traffic yesterday behind a car from Virginia. On the license plate it indicated a founding year of around 1600. That blew me away! What a history! Makes my home state of Arizona really look like a baby.

Hello Bob. Yes, her voice is truly unique. I agree, Krauss and Plant were definitely the odd couple. I've not heard the album though.
